Silenced DREAMers Protest at Scott Tipton’s Pueblo Office

November 7, 2017

Congressman Tipton says he wants a compassionate solution, but DREAMers say his silence does not feel compassionate

Pueblo, CO – Local DREAMer groups and allies have requested to meet with Congressman Tipton for the last two months to no avail. Tipton’s staff has told DREAMers he is looking for a “compassionate solution,” but has not taken a public position on the 2017 DREAM Act. DREAMers and allies urge Congressman Tipton to show courageous moral leadership and show his compassion by supporting the Dream Act so Dreamers who are dedicated to our country can continue calling Colorado home.
