As the Trump administration expands ICE operations in cities like Los Angeles, we are sounding the alarm and mobilizing. Colorado has seen recent enforcement actions—like courthouse arrests and raids in Aurora and Colorado Springs—that have shaken our communities.
In response last week, the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition organized protests to denounce these ICE raids and stand in solidarity with the LA Anti-ICE Protests and the immigrant community across the country.
“This is a moment to show solidarity for the immigrant community in L.A. and also to create a space for our own community here in Colorado to feel seen, protected, and supported,” said Carlos Rojas Rodriguez of CIRC.
For CIRC and our allies, these protests are more than resistance—they are spaces for healing and collective care in the face of fear.
