Boulder Vigil to Protect the First Amendment, Honor Jamal Khashoggi

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On Sunday, December 2nd, community leaders and organizations
will hold a vigil to call on state and federal elected officials to protect our First Amendment
Rights of Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Religion, and Freedom of Speech. The Colorado
Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CO), The Colorado Immigrant Rights
Coalition (CIRC) and the Boulder Chapter of Indivisible, along with faith leaders and concerned
citizens, demand that our state and national leadership stop undermining the US Constitution’s
Bill of Rights in their daily words and deeds, in front of both national and international
audiences, effectively undermining our rule of law and the values they are sworn to defend.
