As we face an escalating wave of attacks on immigrants in 2025, we pause to reflect on the strength, resilience, and victories of the past year. CIRC’s 2024 Annual Report highlights how we mobilized across Colorado to combat hate, build solidarity, and lay the foundation for the fight ahead.

In 2024, amid rising anti-immigrant rhetoric—especially in places like Aurora—we brought communities together through town halls, storytelling events, and our statewide assembly in Fort Collins. We made bold policy gains, including securing additional funds for the Statewide Immigrant Legal Defense Fund and expanding access to SB251 driver’s licenses for newly arrived migrants.

Now, as dangerous policies like Operation Aurora threaten to tear families apart and devastate communities, our work is more urgent than ever. CIRC is ramping up statewide Know Your Rights campaigns, expanding our rapid response networks, and pushing for bold, people-powered solutions to keep Colorado a welcoming home for all.
