The Deputy Director will work closely with the Executive Director (ED), and senior management team to meet the organization’s needs as it continues to experience growth and expands to take on additional efforts. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Deputy Director oversees all aspects of CIRC’s nonprofit c3 and c4 compliance, finances, human resources, information technology, and office operations to guarantee seamless coordination, optimal support of programmatic activities, and best practices in human resources and staff support. The DD will spend their time working 60% for the C4 and 40% for the C3.

Become CIRC’s Next Organizing Director!

The Director of Organizing and Membership is an experienced staff manager and seasoned organizer who will lead a team with diverse expertise and objectives to accomplish short and long-term organizational goals. We seek a motivated and visionary leader who prioritizes and centers the voices of members who are directly impacted by the policies we are fighting for and who can lead CIRC to the next level of strategic organizing. The ideal candidate has strategic organizing campaign experience, is able to support and build the capacity of our organizing staff, and can support organizing staff to build the leadership capacity of our member organizations. They will have at least five years of grassroots, labor or political organizing experience, and a minimum of five years experience building, leading and managing teams. The Director of Organizing and Membership will help shape our future growth and implement the 2022 Strategic plan.
