Mexican Immigrants in Life, Media and Myth

February 20, 2017 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Motus Theater presents the performance Sharing Our Stories: Mexican Immigrants in Media, Life and Myth. In this performance we will hear stories from Mexican immigrants and DACA students in our community. With the help of Dr. Arturo Aldama, from CU Boulder, and leaders from the Northern Colorado Dreamers United, we will learn more about the impact of President Trump’s executive orders on the lives of documented and undocumented immigrants in the community.

Sharing Our Stories offers us the opportunity gain a deeper insight into the consequences of current immigration policies on members of our community. Bring your friends, your colleagues, your classmates, your neighbors your fellow activists and let’s learn how to be engaged citizens and social change artists.

Dr Arturo Aldama and Motus Monologue Artists: Ana Casas, Victor Galvan, Elena Aranda, Oscar Juarez, and Teresita Lozano.
